Who’s Afraid ?

The demand for justice against the supremacists covered by the few
media does not leave us indifferent. The few advances and advances that have been made in the field of social dialogue between men and women, between cultural communities, between workers and employers, between people of different orientations,
are the fruit of too much effort to imagine that we can go back. Calling cynically the requirement for a dignified and respectful communication effort that avoids the insult and the amalgam “politically correct”, and encouraging the act of talking to each other anyhow helps to sow discord and division. It is not these new qualifiers of derision that will slow down the inevitable transformation leading to more considered reports. The fascists and the extreme right always have their vocabulary to designate those whose word disturbs their raw vision. During the Nazis and Petain the terms were different but the idea was the same, to categorize words that demand respect and equality in relationships as barriers to order they want to establish. It’s too much for them. Make the effort to modify the language so as not to humiliate.

How to make an effort not to insulte comes a burden they call political correctness. When the majority of the world can read, we can no longer and we should no longer use reductive language
of intelligence. How to properly educate children when adults start calling freedom the choice to lead the conversation to the gutter? You can be sincere and express yourself freely without going through insults or insults discriminatory. Just make an effort to use respectful language.
