The powerhouse of Talmudic thought

Examining the multiple forms of the question so central to Talmudic thought, can be called the art of addressing what is in the way.
Behind every word of Rashi, even on Houmash, this question exists. It is also a fundamental principle of Freudian thought. Speech is never an accident. It is only the apparent tip of a questioning. What bothers emits signs. It is suffering that is released or repositioned through words. When you follow the journey to the end, you discover a new way of asking a question. The book of Job gives as an answer to suffering, the vision of a staircase made up of 50 questions. Without questioning and disturbing the frame of one question, one cannot reach the next. The questions call out to each other. One of the questions of our time: what does the word foreign mean?
Is there a Qal vaHomer, a fortiori deduction, for the concept of “strangeness”, which is not regressive or destructive? Often when you meet angels in the Hebrew Bible, it is about strangers, visitors, and how to welcome them. Being-Angel, whose role is to set up a mirror in front of us, where shadows and hopes are revealed.
Or this:
Being that we would throw out of sight. In the cold of the waves, in the suffocation of the deep waters. The refugees from the Inquisition, the survivors who populated Cape Verde.
These have gone through visions of drowning in the ocean of indifference, Europe rejecting its natives in Africa. Being-Angel was resuscitated in music, on a continent that resembles a giant ear. There is a way to translate ‘angel’ from the Hebrew Mal’akh, a word that comes from Mel’akha, work. This would give us a worker. Should we be aware of the angel, or should we delve into the comfortable illusion of his absence? Should we know that workers have made everything we use, and be concerned with their living conditions, or choose to consume their time without questioning? It’s not like being aware that there are A.I. technologies around us, despite our inattention, or that prey on our inattention. Whoever listens to you to observe you does not hear you. To be aware of the Angel is to enter the Angel. To enter the Angel is to discover his mission.
When our mission-work, our Mel’akha, is revealed, we no longer see foreigners in this world. We ourselves have become the earth and its movements. We must, by the question, overcome the framework of our vows-nedarim-commitments, and admit a new assembly in our interior space. It is an individual Kol Nidrey, a call from the heart to the heart.
The vows made, the commitments made to certain conceptions and provisions, can be released and disengaged. “Moutarim lachem”: are open for you ’levels more sublime than those which kept you in a state of dependence. Come out of the cage of words, and maybe the angel will speak to you.
