The attempt to rehabilitate the far right

The attempt to rehabilitate the far right within the Jewish community will fail. It is surprising to see that after three decades in France, we discover that there are foreigners at CRIF. It would of course be much too simplifying to minimize the phenomenon. Against a backdrop of economic and social crisis, in a context where extremists want to stir up hatred, these ideas are spreading at an alarming speed by designating scapegoats in the Jewish community. Transformed into a flea market to find political home decor accessories with recycling. At the same time, we forget that the history of this institution is intimately linked wiht  Jews who wer Foreigners living in France. Several founders were clandestines at the time. The mode of expression of these ideas is most often that of ignorance. One of the characteristics of this reconquest of racism is indeed that it comes into the open and all you have to do is take it seriously. This ideological offensive continues and comes at the cost of ignoring Jewish history without proximity in time. The most effective recipe is ongoing debate with reasonable people to combat extreme ideas and acts within the community. It is collectively that we will find the answers. To be better understood, the surge in extremism needs to be analyzed from different angles and at different scales. Two will be offered here. First, a questioning of the relevance of a parallel between the current French situation. The contemporary push of extremism invites us to realize that Jewish history is never finished some believed it naively disappeared after the Shoah, one could not be satisfied, for convenience, to see in it a form of beginning again in wanting, the amalgam. If it is not very operative, in order to understand what is at stake today, to appeal to the threat of a return of fascisms, it is undoubtedly more instructive to wonder, at the same time as the surge of the extreme right, on the rise in power which is observed in certain political forces
