We wish our FJN friends a Shana Tova Umetuka, filled with everyday blessings, and gifts of Happiness.
May Hashem enlighten our awareness that one must strive spiritually for oneself, and materially for others, and not the other way around. For if one strives spiritually for others, one is a hypocrite, and if one strives materially for oneself, that is called greed. Being selfish spiritually is a good thing, one must acquire the noblest qualities of heart, and achieve spiritual levels of selfless devotion. Initiation to these levels is current in many African tradition. The idea is to keep the spiritual search going, to higher and higher levels. Materially what we are blessed with is meant to be shared. When we share, matter becomes elevated to the level of spirit. Both spirit and matter danse for the Most High.
Rosh Ha-Shana is the Rebirth of the Cycle of Year. A New Year means a new awareness, hopefully entering a higher spiritual level, gaining more patience, more forgiveness, more positivity, love and courage. Materially hopefully we enter a higher level of sharing, for that is the guarantee of our blessing! Never give spirit away, always keep it close by.
Think of sharing, the blessing comes. Spirit opens your eyes to the future.
But it is cultivated by the sharing heart. May Hashem bless us all in high spirit and healthy mental and physical body, healthy and generous relationships, and achieving our endeavors for greater peace, greater thankfulness to the Most High!!!!
