Parachat Vayakhel. By Rabbi Daniel Assor

Our Parashat Vayakhel concludes with instructions given to Moses by Gd how to make the Ark of the Covenant the upper lid of the Ark of the Covenant covered from above and in effect the two cherubim made of one piece of gold place on the frost and face each other to his brother. The cherubim face each other with his brother as Gd enlightens the people of Israel and their leader in private leadership and oversight in terms of the light of his face. This is the most ideal and desirable situation that symbolizes the fact that both God and the people of Israel keep the covenant that was cut between them in Mount Sinai properly. While we must understand that God never violates a covenant and unlike humans who sometimes fail in their mission and breach their promises or oaths, Gd is neither man nor violator of covenant nor oath. For example, if we look at the promise God promised to King David in the book of Psalms it says: “I will never have mercy on him;
  “And I have forever sowed his seed; and his throne, heavenly. If my sons leave, my law; In my belief. I did not wish for a covenant; and for the sake of my lips, I would not change. One, I swore by the saints: Uncle David is disappointed. His seed, will never be; and his chair as the sun against me. (Psalm 24: 1)
The Gentiles established their religions on the grounds that indeed the people of Israel stood at Sinai and received the Divine Torah from Gd out of Egypt but because he broke the covenant so Gd also broke the covenant while what is written in this book of Psalms assured only King David that He would be of his loins and sat on his throne In the latter days, however, this promise is not for the people of Israel. These Gentiles have ignored many Bible verses which prove that the covenant with the people of Israel is eternal, for example:
“And this I have done unto them, said the Lord my Spirit which is upon thee, and the words which I have put in thy mouth shall not be fulfilled from thy mouth, and from thy seed, and from thy seed’s seed from henceforth.”
“A signal is my son and among the children of Israel is a signal to the world that for six days the Lord made heaven and earth and rested on the seventh day” (Exodus 16:16).
“For the Lord will not forsake him and his inheritance shall not leave” (Psalm 16:14)
“Israel’s eternity will not lie and will not be comforted because no man is and will be comforted” (Samuel 1:25)
Including the Lord’s covenant with King David in the Bible equation in the Book of Jeremiah for covenant with Israel and one’s fate is as seen in explicit verses see verses:
  “Thus saith the LORD, if I have not covenanted day and night – imitations of heaven and earth, I will not cease. , And mercy. ” (Jeremiah chapter for such verses)
However, when the people of Israel do not want a place and do not keep the covenant, there are three levels of hiding. The first degree is that God continues to illuminate his face unchanged but the abundance is diminished because the people symbolized by the left cabbage himself returned from the Lord’s people, and thus, Gd’s enlightenment is not accepted through the left cabbage but only in the back way. The state of the cherubs marked for Israel the state of the relationship between Israel and the Lord in all four situations at all levels of contact between us. A second degree of hiding is that God shines in the back and hides the people of Israel even though the people of Israel returned to them because they had previously returned with their covenant by saying: “You will leave two days I will leave” (Jerusalem Talmud, Tractate Blessings )
The worst situation is that the two cherubs are one to the other and to their faces farther to the right and the other to the left. But we need to understand that the coming situation is not static and although they were created together with the unbelievers of the one-piece gold as the Torah emphasized to us, the cherubs miraculously moved according to the spiritual condition, namely by keeping the written covenant on the Torah scroll and the second tablets and the first fragments that were placed inside the Ark of the covenant Testimony and seal of the covenant that was cut between Gd and man and in fact between Gd and the entire human race through the people of Israel exclusively, this covenant is based solely on the Torah and the stone tablets on which the Ten Commandments were written and according to the existence of the signed covenant, the state of the cherubim appears to be above the unbeliever. In fact, the Torah is called “The Book of Testimony” and “The Book of the Covenant” and the four situations are against the four letters of the name .
 “And there shall be established a testimony in Jacob and Torah there in Israel, which commanded our fathers to inform their sons” (Psalms Chapter 5 verse 5)
And more is said about the Torah scroll in the Ark of the Covenant which it calls itself “the covenant”
As the verse states: “Thus saith the LORD, if I have not pondered day and night, and will not imitate heaven and earth.” (Jeremiah 3:15)
The question arises as to why all four situations are against the name of the supposedly the states of concealment and concealment which are a sign of a breach of the agreement and the covenant between Israel and our Heavenly Father? The answer to this is that there is never such a state of covenant violation because it is “eternal.” And all non-ideal situations can only occur only temporarily in the different periods as in exile, but the Lord never breaks His covenant…
