FJN denounces anti-Roma racism in all its forms.

The medias loop on the lynching of Roma in Bobigny and the attacks on other members of this community are an outrage to human dignity. The Roma community has been unjustly targeted by racist Fake News disseminations. FJN expresses outrage at this discriminatory barbarism.
Roma have been suffering for centuries in the European environment. Yet they are present in many European countries, long before those who treat them as foreigners.
On the other hand they represent what typically happens between matriarchal and patriarchal cultures.
Matriarchal communities, such as Roma and Jews, have always been persecuted by patriarchal societies, of which the Nazis were the pinnacle.
The Roma suffered genocide in Europe under the Nazis and their fascist collaborators. Millions of Roma have already been exterminated, for no other crime than their belonging to the people of their mothers.
The Jews suffered the same fate for the same reason, and the nationalist and statist patriarchy tried to erase the trans-national memory of these two peoples at the same time.
As Black Jews we know that such events are part of a context that is not good for anyone.
We stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in the Roma community, and with them the FJN denounces anti-Roma racism in all its forms.
