The FJN was saturated with calls and messages asking us to react to the cartoon of Ms. Obono, deputy France Insoumise of Gabonese origin, represented as an African slave in Valeurs Actuelles, a newspaper tending to the extreme-right.
Mrs. Obono is represented there as a slave chained to the neck. We warmly thank all those among the intellectual, media and political class raised their
voice in opposition to the racialist, sexist, humiliating and discriminatory approach of Valeurs Actuelles against Ms. Obono.
We are grateful to the public which in its great majority expresses its indignation in the face of these gratuitous provocations to social disorder.
The FJN is pleased to be counted among the many associations and organizations that have seen in advance the unfolding of the social spiral.
