Death of Yaphet Kotto, Hollywood actor and Black Jew

FJN is saddened to hear the new of the disappearance of actor Yaphet Kotto, known around the world for his many roles in the big screen. Born in the United States, Yaphet Kotto has always proudly affirmed his African Jewish origin as a source of inspiration during his long career. His father Avraham Kotto came from Cameroon, of the Bell Dynasty. He was a friend of the African Jewish community, and she will always be grateful to him. He was 81 years old and father of six children. The actor died on Monday, March 15, 2021. It was his widow who announced the terrible news.
