The federation of Black Jews (FJN) is collapsed by this cruel and barbarous murder, worthy of the Middle Ages, of 85-year-old Mireille Knoll. Friday night, this lady, survivor of the raid Vel d’Hiv, was stabbed 11 times by a murderer who then set fire to his family home.
We expect the authorities that all the transparency be made quickly on this barbaric crime. FJN is concerned about this growing phenomenon of attacking helpless older people. Murder committed a few hundred meters from that of Sarah Halimi for which it took 8 months to the justice to call it anti-Semitic.
FJN hopes that the government will react quickly and clearly. These barbaric acts are intolerable and must be punished.
FJN is fully support of the family and the community that has been ravaged by this despicable crime.
