Anti-vaccines and the trivialization of the Holocaust

According to the IHRA, “Any distortion of the Holocaust, whether intentional or not, fuels anti-Semites and can lead to more violent forms of anti-Semitism. ”
Is it acceptable that a part of the French committed to the extreme left as well as the extreme right relay images of people wearing the yellow star in connection with compulsory vaccination.From skepticism to conspiracy, the road is sometimes very short, it is even shorter conspiracy to denial: opposition to the vaccine takes on a particularly worrying expression when during certain street demonstrations, anti-vaccines insinuate the extermination of the masses. The mechanisms that led to the Shoah must serve as a warning and force a commitment against all totalitarianisms.
FJN considers this kind of embezzlement as necessarily anti-Semitic, and this trivialization of the Shoah is perceived as very disturbing, because it constitutes an insult to the memory of the victims. It is taught in schools in many western countries and at memorial ceremonies take place on January 27, anniversary of the liberation of the camp
of Auschwitz extermination. Such a genocide, of which the Roma were also victims,
is so insane that we still wonder today how it could have happened in the heart of
Europe, the cradle of modern Western civilization. In addition to historical research which continue to update the accomplices, films and photos, often taken clandestinely,
provide a better understanding of the conditions under which this genocide took place.
The testimonies of the survivors were all the more important than the documents available are quite limited, the Nazis having taken care to destroy as many as possible.
Six million people are also six million men, women and children, individuals who
just wanted to live. By dint of allowing the Holocaust – or other genocides – to be trivialized without reacting, do we not run the risk to leave the door open to all kinds of abuses? In their almost missionary zeal to wear the yellow star, and the equivalence of the
situation with the Jews victims of genocide by the Nazis, anti-vaccines seriously minimize
The Shoah. We can therefore understand that the dubious jokes, the amalgamations made around the Holocaust and Auschwitz shock survivors and their descendants.
