An 85-year-old Jewish woman was stabbed to death in an apartment in Paris, French media reported on Sunday. One suspect has been arrested.
Authorities found the woman’s torched body on Sunday and have deduced that the murder was committed on Friday. Media reports about the murder provided no details as to the suspect’s name or motive. The victim, a Holocaust survivor, was identified only as Mireille. Last month, a French court ruled that the murder of Sarah Halimi, 65, in her apartment in eastern Paris, was an anti-Semitic attack. The attacker, Kobili Traore, beat Halimi after breaking into her apartment in April 2017 and later threw her out the window to her death.
